Dynamic Backdrop Projection with Dance

This was an attempt by Kuchipudi dance diva Swapna Sundari to bring alive the concept of Devdasi Temple Dancing to an audience seated inside an auditorium. The AV projection was designed to create the environs of a temple and mimic the movement of the dancer as she performs in different corners of it. Narrative and visuals also interpreted the obeisance paid to various Gods. It succeeded in transporting the audience back in time during the performance in 2007.
